N-Propyl Acetate

N-Propyl Acetate (NPAC) is a chemical compound used as a solvent and an example of an ester. This clear, colorless liquid is known for its characteristic odor of pears. Due to this fact, it is commonly used in fragrances and as a flavor additive. Moreover, it is used as raw materials for edible perfume, nitrocellulose solvent, paint, plastic, and other organic materials because it has good solvency power.
